Lilypad is a state of the art Long Day Care located in Top Ryde City Shopping Centre, providing excellence in quality care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years of age. Lilypad was established in 2011 as a privately owned, family operated child care centre. Purpose built from the ground up, Lilypad is designed to provide a stimulating environment where children can learn through activities and free play to develop socially, physically and emotionally.

We understand that all children must be nurtured and cared for with individual attention in order to release each child's potential. We strive to provide an environment in which your child may have the freedom to explore interests, build lasting relationships with other children and develop their self-esteem. A strong focus of Lilypad is for children to become well rounded and independent learners through both physical and intellectual activities. 

Like the children, the backgrounds of our Lilypad Educators are also unique. At Lilypad we embrace the uniqueness of both children and teachers as we believe that this creates a more meaningful and fulfilling bond.

In conjunction with the nationally recognised Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), our Educators are equipped to address all of your children's needs and requirements in order to achieve their full potential. A School Readiness program is implemented in our Preschool Rooms to ensure that children are ready and equipped for the start of Primary School.

Lilypad is licensed by the NSW Department of Education and Communities and as such operates under the Education and Care Services Regulations as well as the Education and Care Services National Law. Our Educators adhere to the Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics for Quality Early Childhood practices.

Lilypad consists of a state of the art, artificial outdoor area and numerous indoor classrooms to cater for all ages appropriately. All areas are equipped with air purifiers and filtered air conditioning, particularly ideal for asthma and allergy suffering children.

We have 2 chefs that contribute to the making of meals daily. Meals are nutritiously planned meals that meet dietary and health guidelines. All our meat, poultry and fish is delivered daily and none is frozen for later use, eliminating any chances of contamination and lack of storage hygiene. 

Lilypad qualifies for Child Care Benefit (CCB) and Child Care Rebate (CCR).
