Murray Children's Centre

Newcastle Child Care lists Murray Children's Centre in Thurgoona, who continued to provide excellent After School Care care, education and support for the children and their families of Thurgoona Australia.

The staff and management committee of Murray Children's Centre would like to welcome you to our centre. We are a university based early childhood centre, based on the Charles Sturt University Albury-Wodonga, Thurgoona Campus. We serve the children of the general community, staff, and students.

Murray Children's Centre has been operating since March 1995.  The centre complies with ACECQA national regulations,and is licensed for 72 places. The centre has a Management Committee made up of staff from the university and family members of children attending the centre. Murray Children's Centre is dedicated to exemplary professional practice and ethical early childhood research.

We offer full-time learning experiences to children birth to five years in an innovative and inclusive centre that is guided by exemplary practice and research. Our centre is open to all children in the university and surrounding communities. We provide children security, comforting familiarity, and continuity of care, which promote confidence and foster independence. We value small and large group experiences for children, and we work to support exploration and learning through imaginative play.
